Sprouting
As I write this blog there are several happy things to make note of:
1.) It is 5:17pm and the sun is still above the mountains
2.) The windows are open and fan is on - 65 degrees and sunny
Spring is almost here!! YAY!
The last week and a half has been full of fun things starting with a visit from my wonderful friend, Kelsey :) Sadly the weather wasn't at it's Colorado best but we still had lots of fun relaxing, catching up, reminiscing about TU days, eating sushi and fondue and making sure Aida became well acquainted with Auntie Diddy. Aida had actually met Kels before.....at her wedding when I was 23 weeks preggo. Can't wait to make it out to Boston for a visit!
On Sunday Aida turned four months! Wow, still can't believe how fast time is flying. The last month has been marked by an explosion of personality! Lots of new "voices" (and cries), more time awake, first laughs, frequent smiles and in the last few days, rolling front to back and back to front! Her little personality continues to develop and surprise us daily. Still thoroughly sweet and fairly mellow....but a little stubborn streak is starting to surface. Aida got her first taste of "big girl" food yesterday - super thin rice cereal. Having a baby has made me more aware how much and often we are learning! For instance, Aida has to learn how to sweep food to the back of her mouth and swallow it, it doesn't just "happen". It continues to be such a joy and privilege being Aida's mommy each and every day, I just love watching her grow into a little person!
Here are some pics from the latest events:

So, have you ever noticed that the acronym for your blog name can legitimately be pronounced: Lydj, which is one of your nicknames, and makes your blog title ten times more clever...
ReplyDeleteYay! I am so excited she did the full roll, thanks goodness I was there to experience the "half-roll."
