once upon a time a boy saw a girl.  he asked her to go get lime bars.  she said yes.  he was a viking and she was dutch.  but this didn’t stop them.  eventually they fell in love, got married, became the H’s, bought a house in the mountains and had a little dutch-viking hybrid.

then they decided that some sort of modern narritive of life in general [l.i.g], preferably in the digital format, may be in order.

(little dutch-viking hybrids tend to make these things necessary.)

so here is an attempt to capture l.i.g in all it’s wonderful, wild, blessed, busy, changing, challenging gusto.

Spring?

So remember how I posted those pictures of all that Spring-y-ness?  False.  This is what I woke up to this morning:
Lovely, yes.  Spring-y, no.  In other news, we made a fantastic discovery during hall demo today (Ok, Peter made the discovery since he is doing all the work :))....
A charming brick pillar that will now be exposed on three sides in our kitchen and hall!  I love older homes :)
Aida had her 4 month appointment on Monday and we got the go-ahead to start veggie and fruit solids with her.  So fun!  She is currently devouring rice cereal and avocado several times a day, eating more each time.  Here she is "helping" me feed herself.

Now it's off to bed so we can catch our flight to Cinci tomorrow!
